For over twenty-five years, Mary Greenwood,  Attorney, Mediator and Author has worked in careers that required conflict resolution. She has worked as an attorney, mediator, negotiator, arbitrator, trainer, Law School Professor and Human Resources Director. 

She is a Florida Certified County Mediator and has negotiated thousands of cases with Squaretrade, an online mediation service for eBay buyers and sellers.

Mary Greenwood has a BA in English from New School University and an MA in English from USC in Los Angeles. She earned a law degree from California Western School of Law (San Diego) and an LL.M. in Labor Law from George Washington School of Law.

She has worked as a College Attorney at Colorado College, Winthrop University and the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She was County Attorney in Manatee County and Assistant County Attorney in Monroe County.

Greenwood taught Labor Law, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Education Law, Constitutional Law, and Employment Law at Stetson Law School and St. Thomas Law School.

Greenwood also worked as Human Resources and Labor Relations Director at City of Miami Beach, City of Hollywood, Monroe County, and Keys Energy, Key West Florida

Greenwood has written  How To Mediate Like A Pro (FEb. 2008,) which has won three book awards:
